The MiDO Digital Citizenship (MDC) programme is aimed at transforming learners into Digital Citizens who effectively use information technology to engage with learning, each other and society. Each of the MDC levels is also linked to a specific learning outcome.

MDC1 - Literacy

Learners are introduced to the concept of digital citizenship. Learners are enabled to understand technology tools through awareness, need and resource identification in order to use technology effectively.

MDC2 - Creativity

MDC2 builds on MDC 1 – Learners are guided to create content through a project based learning approach. Learners learn and refine their photography, graphic design, sound engineering and creative storytelling skills.

MDC3 - Innovation

MDC3 – Learners apply the knowledge and skills to resolve relevant scenarios, these include: bullying in school, littering and data collection and storage.
